In this e-course, you will learn how to introduce yourself in Spanish. We will train you to imitate and produce the sounds and rhythm of Spanish so you can understand conversations faster and develop your fluency. We will also uncover some Spanish language patterns so you can get a grasp of basic Spanish grammar in context.
Get your mouth around sounds before focusing on writing
In this course, you will start learning words and phrases by ear.
To avoid your native language interfering with the learning of the Spanish sounds, we will not show you the written form of the phrases you learn until a later stage. Focusing solely on sound to start with will train your mouth muscles to move the right way, as well as tune your ears to the sounds and rhythm of Spanish.
We will break down the training into manageable steps through a sequence of activities where you will be using audio tracks and sound flashcards to aid the learning process.
Prepare yourself for a final communicative task
In order to encourage yourself to practice more, you need to feel a need to communicate. The final task of this course is to make a video where you will introduce yourself to the Flipspanish community. You will be sharing the video in the course forum for others learners to watch.
Having a communicative goal is crucial for learning a language because it gives you a purpose to learn and it activates cognitive processes that help internalize the language faster.
